Wow this was actually great. I must admit that in the Glittering Court I was not a Tamsin fan. She was too competitive and obsessed with winning. I just couldn't stand her. In ES we find out that there is a reason she is like this. And that really changed the way I felt about her character. Being the best, and marrying the most eligible bachelor is not something she wants. It's something she has to do. (view spoiler)[I was truly shocked to learn ...

I loved the first book in this series but both book two and three was a let down for me for some weird reason.

I rarely write reviews on good reads because I write badly in English (I am french by the way), but when I see that this book is so under appreciated... I had to step in, shitty level or not. We all get to play wonder-woman one day. It's really strange for me, because I have been reading Richelle Mead's books for ages, I started with the Vampire Academy series in high school. I really appreciate how her writing has improved, how she was able at s...

This has been my least favorite of this series but over all I loved the series! I definitely recommend if you liked the selection.

**SPOILER ALERT**This was the best book in the series! And one of the most addictive! Tamsin Wright. It shocked me the most that she had a daughter! I mean, who could have seen that coming? Well, almost no one practically. In this book, she, a kind of, became a leader. And she did her job well. Although, she was reminding herself again and again that all this was for Merry, her daughter. Jago Robinson. Or should I say Jacob Robinson? Well, does i...

Liked book 2 a tad more but this story is still better than book 1. Tamsin is very feisty and gets what she wants and if doesn't puts up a great fight. This book is between a 3.5-4 for me.

I fell in love with Adelaide and Cedric. I quite enjoyed Mira and Grant. But I was thoroughly entranced by Tamsin and Jago. Tamsin has depths that are only hinted at in the previous books. And Jago. *sigh* I think he's my favorite of the heroes. He really lets Tamsin shine. I actually "ah"ed out loud when Tamsin was upset and Jago faked a problem with the horse harness to have Tamsin groom the horses, which helped her. I would love to see another...

*Source* Library*Genre* Young Adult / Fantasy*Rating* 3.5*Thoughts*The Emerald Sea, by author Richelle Mead, is the third and final installment in the Glittering Court trilogy. The book answers the trilogy’s biggest question: what is the secret that drives Tamsin to win at all costs? Tamsin Wright is unstoppable. For me, this book was the weakest of the three. It has adventure but still had pockets where it felt dragged out. The author could have cut 100 pages out. Overall I loved the second book the best in this series!

The Emerald Sea by Richelle Mead is the third and final novel in the Glittering Court series. While the first novel followed Adelaide, and the second novel Mira, this conclusion follows Tamsin. In this book, we discover Tamsin's past and why it is so important to her to get the highest scores and become the diamond, and why it is important for her to find the richest husband. We also get a glimpse at Tamsin's life during her time when she is not ...

This Glittering Court finale was the best SO FAR! Wow. I liked The Glittering Court, it reminded me of the Selection. The second book was good but my last favorite of all three. This one ... it had tons of action, love , just everything. I mean I liked it so much. I’m shocked.

This book was provided by the publisher. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. We’re making our final visit to the Glittering Court in The Emerald Sea. In the style of the previous two books, this one follows the same story and timeline but from the third character, Tamsin.I’d say The Emerald Sea was more like Midnight Jewel than The Glittering Court. Adelaide’s choices were never clear to me and, frankly, ...

Tamsin Wright has always been a marvelous character, so I was expecting nothing less of her in this book written in her full perspective. She definitely delivered, and more at that! As based on my ratings, each book of this series has gotten better and better! The first book wasn’t horrible, so I didn’t give up on this series, and I’m so glad I didn’t! There are just so many secrets, relationships, and adventures to keep the series going!...

Well... to be honest.. I don't even know how to put my boredom into words yet... Review to come. The Emerald Sea is the final book in the Glittering Court series and each book is centred around a girl and their studies to find themselves a wealthy husband. This particular book is based on Tasmin Wright, who you learn from the previous books, is a bit of a determined and rude woman. Tasmin, like most of the girls that attended the Glittering Court,...

If I could give this book 6 stars, I would. It has been a long time since I have read a book and FELT it. Am I the only one who gets a pit in my stomach when reading about mis-communications that break apart people who are truly good to and for each other? If I am, whatever I am okay with it. It makes my reading experience really intense. I read this book in one sitting, at night, knowing I had a 6 am wake up the next morning and even now, exhaust...

I enjoyed these books a whole lot, but I don't think I'll be clamoring to reread them anytime soon.I absolutely love the way that these books are set up. Three books, three different POVs, published far enough apart that I barely remember anything from the previous book. I love that things are left unanswered in each POV. In Glittering Court we only get answers that are directly connected to Adelaide. In Midnight Jewel you only get answers direct...

Yes! This is probably my favorite of the trilogy, and I'm actually really glad that Richelle Mead released them in the order she did. And now I totally need to go back and reread both Adelaide and Mira's books, just so I can see if I can piece together other details and such that I didn't even realize that I missed. Tamsin is such a determined individual, and even though her secret was very predictable, Mead didn't try and hide it for too long. I...

Definitely my favorite of the Glittering Court trilogy, but maybe that's just because I found Tamsin so relatable. She's such an amazing, strong, and determined woman who knows exactly what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it.I do hope we'll see more of this world in the future as I have so many questions about the Icori and the Balanquan people.

I enjoyed wrapping up the Glittering Court Series. I especially enjoyed that none of the 3 girls in the books actually married as they intended! Instead they found independence, learned that they were worth more than being trophy wives, opened up with each other, as well as other people, and found the love, adventure and opportunity they were searching for.

At first, I was a bit unsure if I'd enjoy hearing Tamsin's story. I didn't really like her as a character in the other books, but the more I read the more I came to like her. Yet again another Richelle Mead page turner for me.

i love tamsin & the ending was so nice, but since i didn't really get into the romance until the last 50 pages or so, it did leave me a bit bored during some stretches

Tamsin's tale was the one I was most looking forward to reading. It did not disappoint and was a nice ending to the series. As always, Richelle is superb at world building and manages to capture us with the characters.

Loved it!Tamsin’s story was by far the most entertaining installment of this trilogy. Even though I enjoyed Adelaide’s and Mira’s story, I could not stop reading this one. While I was annoyed with Tamsin in the other books, I did not know what she had at stake, but she has turned into my favorite character. I connected with her the most, and her story was even more interesting than the other ones. In THE EMERALD SEA, Mead explores the rest ...

This series is refreshing and fantastic. Flawed at times, but definitely delightful in the big picture. I had so much fun reading this series, and now I will have fun writing about my thoughts and interpretations. My thoughts on The Emerald Sea: YAS QUEEN TAMSIN! In the other books, I wanted to understand her, but couldn't. Now I do, and she's a spectacular survivor oozing with relentless determination (as everyone in the book points out). I loved...

So, I know the book has not been released yet but what are you guys expecting from Tamsin and from the book as whole? As in would it be better than the first two books or any guesses about the male protagonist opposite Tamsin?
