A Little Big Rock (Big Rock, #0.5)

My best friend is freaking awesome. But don't just take my word for it. Consider all his attributes.First, let's start with the obvious one.Size.He has this one fantastic bone in his body. It's bigger than other guys'. It's thicker, longer, more powerful.C'mon. I'm talking about his funny bone.Spencer Holiday makes me laugh like no one ever has. Sarcastic, self-deprecating, and always at attention with a joke--that's him.Except, it's no joke when ...

Super short (and pointless) story from Charolette's POV about her reason to agree playing Spencer's fake fiancé.

If you haven't read 'Big Rock', you might want to because it's good. Fluffy M/F romance told solely from the guy's POV. If you have read it, this short story is completely unnessesary, disjointed and not very good.

I love everything Big Rock. This book was the first I read to Ms. Lauren and since that moment, she became one of the most read authors on my list.

Who knew I needed more of Charlotte and Spencer? Lauren Blakely, that's who! This was a fun little peek into Charlotte's world, leading up to the point in time when she and Spencer finally gave into their feelings for each other! Now I have to go back and reread Big Rock, but this time I'm going to do the audiobook!

I was quite excited for this because Big Rock is one of my all time favourites and I wanted to see a little from Charlottes perspective but I felt this was a little unnecessary and we didn't get much at all. It makes a great introduction to Big Rock if you were interested in reading it but it didn't add much if you had already read Big Rock.

I read this straight away, and it enjoyed so much that I've started a reread of Big Rock, which I loved.

So cute! It was great to see Charlotte’s POV. I wish it was longer though and spanned the time they were doing the fake fiancé thing. Spencer is adorable of course! *off to re-read Big Rock*

Even though I likes this, I was disappointed. I knew this was going to be short, I knew it's a prequel... But it was far shorter and had far less content than I expected.

Love love love love it!! 😍It's just a very short story but this was the beginning of Charlotte and Spencer story. Reading this makes me want to Re-read Big Rock again. Big Rock was the first book by this author I read and was one of my favorites 💛If you're also a fan of Big Rock Series, you definitely should read this one. And oh! It's free on Amazon 😃

I can't believe I'm giving one of my all-time favorite authors a 2 star rating. But after reading the blurb and grabbing it on July 28th, I had no idea this was a teaser. NOWHERE does it say that it's a teaser to Big Rock. How does this make me feel as a reader?Jilted! I was so looking forward to reading it on a Sunday afternoon. I'm all for prequels and short stories in-between longer novels but this isn't even a story. Sure, it starts out well ...

Big Rock was the book that started my love of Lauren Blakely books so I loved having the chance to go back to where it all started and get a small taste of Charlotte's POV! This was a quick little read but it was fun to get Charlotte's side. If you've read Big Rock, you should take a few minutes to check this out and if you haven't read it yet, then you can start here and then dive into Big Rock!! It's a nice little introduction to Spencer and Ch...

Sure it was free but I still feel cheated. I realise it was a novella but in my a opinion a novella is a short story. This was not a story in any way shape of form. It was a couple of disjointed scenes that equates to the opening chapter of a story.

Very fast read about 15 minutes. It did its job though. I have already started the full book.

Teeny tiny novella. I didn't understand why or if it was really needed. You don't need to read this before diving into the main event.

I was curious about this prequel and after loving Big Rock very much was looking forward to read it - unfortunatelly I was dissapointed.I'm not sure if I'd like it more if I'd read it first but it's too late for this. In my opinion this short story was neither witty, sexy nor entertaining - which were the main reasons I loved Big Rock so much - somehow it appeared redundant and flat :-(I suppose if this were my very first book by this author it w...

A short and sweet introduction to Big Rock from Charlotte's point of view. Big Rock is my first Lauren Blakely book to read and listen to and this is a little nugget introducing Charlotte and Spencer story. Would have liked a little more in this short story. Every book that Lauren has written I absolutely love and while I may have liked to have Big Rock told from a dual POV, I will always love Spencer and Charlotte friends to lovers story.

TeaseReally liked the story and would have given it more stars but this was only a tease. I'm willing to spend money to buy more books from a writer-like a continuation of a family or a group of friends, but when the first "book" from the writer doesn't even tell the first story and I would have to buy 2 more to get to finish just the first story well......

Big Rock is on my very short list of favorite books, and introduced me to the magic of Lauren Blakey romance. So I loved this short but awesome novella in Charlotte’s POV. It was free so I can’t complain, but I would love to read the entire book in her POV. The entire Big Rock series is not to be missed.

This little snippet of Spencer and Charlotte is a wink and a great big tease from one of my favorite authors of all time. If you haven't read Big Rock you can look forward to snappy dialogue, sexy shenanigans and charismatic characters that will touch your heart and keep you coming back for more books by this wonderful author.

It's these stupid romance novellas that drive my Goodreads reading challenge each year so unrealistically high. This was, thankfully a short read and not something that I would have ever read had I not received it for free. Not something that I will read again, nor will I read the full length novel that this is a prelude to.

I will always say yes to an extra helping of any of Lauren's books. Spencer and Charlotte are two of my favorites, and I loved Charlotte's side of this eventually-epic romance. Of course, Spencer is awesome, but I loved the little things Charlotte started paying attention to--much like Spencer in Big Rock. Loved this mini-prequel.

Okay!I thought I was going in for a short story, but it really was only a teaser to get you to buy the bigger book. This short "story" holds promise for a bigger better story, but it kind of lets you see where the next book is going and you can probably guess how it will end.
