    Ehhh ... honestly feel like this should've ended a few volumes ago. The story is just not really interesting anymore and it feels like we're just going around in circles.

    IDK why I seem to have forgotten to review this but...This series is so strange and I'm not really sure where the next volume is gonna take it. I definitely wanna read more of Shuzo Oshimi's work whilst I wait for volume 8.

    With Flowers of Evil and now Happiness, Oshimi seems preoccupied with adults confronting the people whose behavior traumatized them in their more formative years, and now that Gosho is the main character, she is the one left behind to try to resolve the decade-old problems of her youth. I found this volume a compelling look at (oc)cult mentality, but some readers may be turned away by the horrid violence committed in the name of getting closer to...
