What an amazing ride!!I loved this whole series. Even though Ryn started out as a naive child, she grew into an amazing woman who found her place. She went through so much pain and heartache but she still fought for what she knew was the right thing.Ryn and Tyrrick together was just adorable and I loved them together. An epic journey for sure!

Sometimes the best things do come in three'sHow do you review a series that you now consider to be the best YA fantasy of all time? with gif's of courseYUP I think that accurately covers the range of emotions this one put me through! I'm sad its over but I think it was wonderfully done in a trilogyBook 1 was for Ryn to discover her heritage and for Tyrrik Book 2 was for the Phaeton and Book 3 was for Emperor Draedyn The most significant change th...

A satisfying end to a great series. There wasn’t quite as much humor in this book as book two, but Ryn and Tyrrick are one of my favorite couples. There’s a lot of action in this book, and I’m sad to see that it’s the end of this series. PS - where’s my scene where Ryn sees Tyrrick’s horde??? Can I get an outtake of that pretty please???

I CAN'T WAIT 😭😭 I love these books so much...they've become a part of me hahaha
Entertaining but flawedThe main characters are likable, except for most of the first book. However, their behavior and characteristics don't evolve during the books much. Her powers do during the first 2 books. Primarily maddening to me, were the mistakes the 2 main characters kept repeating : walking into potential enemy camp with no plan whatsoever and no reconnoitering or even basic observation of the new area prior to showing up. Then, they'r...

Series ReviewThe series as a whole enjoyable. The cast of characters was interesting and we certainly saw some growth in the main characters. I liked the world building - the Drae and Phaeton, the Wheel and Gemond-there was a lot of creativity there. The series felt weak to me in a couple areas. First, it was fairly predictable. I would have appreciated more twists, and frankly the whole evil parent thing is so rote in this genre. Secondly, I felt...

I love this so damn much! Kamoi you suck man. Ryn kicked ass and Draedyn was STABBED THROUGH THE HEART! BUT HE'S TO LATE BECAUSE HE GIVES DRAE'S A BAD NAME! now I need short stories of Ryan's and Tyrrik's babies please!

3.5 CocktailsI didnt like the ending to this series as much as I did the other books. However, still a solid read.

Overall Rating: 4Heroine: The most powerful dragon and queen of potatoes of all timeDude: Can I “play cards” with him? Please?! ;) Steaminess: We volunteer for The Question Game!Brutality: Open heart surgery by talonsThis series is one the most pleasant surprises I’ve gotten from Kindle Unlimited. Though, with Kelly St. Clare and Raye Wagner involved I shouldn’t be surprised! <3 Black Crown finally gives us everything we needed, the steam...

It's a sad, sad fact that if I had the ability to skip forward in time just once, I would 100% use it for this dang book.

Holy drae babies, what an ending!! I'm here to tell you that Black Crown is the thrilling conclusion to Wagner and St. Clare's hilarious story following Ryn, the most powerful drae. If you're reading this, I assume you've read book 1 & 2. If you haven't...well, go do that. Right. Now. Seriously, I'll wait... Are you with me now? Good, let's get on with it then. As usual you can expect to laugh out loud. Ryn, at her core, is still Ryn- the compete...

To start.... I really love Kelly St. Clair books. This whole series I was sitting on the edge of my seat! It was nail biting and heart racing and made me laugh out loud. I really do love this series and with this being the third and final book in the trilogy (unless we have a surprise coming) I was riveted throughout the whole book. I love Ryn & Tyr together. I am glad Ryn kept her quick wit and continue to grow throughout the book. Soooo... why ...

The final book in the series and it was so, so, so good. Such an amazing read and it had all that I was looking for in this finale plus more. Ryn is definitely one of my favourite characters. I just love her humour and her strength and her fight but I also love that she has a heart of gold deep down. We got to see a lot more of Ryn and Tyrrik together in this book and that made me so happy. The dynamics of them together are really well done and T...

I was so excited to read this book that I was very surprised that I... didn’t like it 💔Its either that all the waiting just made me lose interest or it was just not good. 😪. I’m even ashamed that I compared this with the ACOTAR series and Tyrrik to Rhys. Uhmm.. just no. I don’t know what came over me but this one just had a lot of plot holes. The way their big bad enemy died was totally ridiculous. And the way the h brought back the H...

An epic conclusion to what was quite the epic adventure that went from horribly dark to oddly endearing and quirky. I thought it might have ended a little too neatly for my tastes, though. It's just... when there's so much at stake then the sacrifice means more by the end of the book and I felt like Black Crown robbed me of real emotional trauma.Over all I didn't have too many issues with the book other than the pacing and naming conventions for ...

A whole stack of pancakesHoly Pancakes what an ending! What a series! I cannot give enough praise for this series. From start to finish I was hooked. Ryn had a personality that made me laugh, cry, and shreik right along with her. If you read any of this series you will want to finish it out. The #bookhangover for awhile.

still one of my fav ships but not my fav book out of the trilogy... 1 & 2 were better....

The first 2 books were better

Overly ChildishThe story had potential, but I felt that it was extremely childish and the the sarcasm way overplayed. I couldn't bare to read "playing cards" again. Honestly the plot was there, but felt flat with Rhyn actually influencing Tyrrik more than him influencing her. The maturity he carried the other books with was turned over to dumb references to sex. Too bad ....

DNFI like a good YA but this series got overly obnoxious after a while.

Ummm it's ok could have been betterI'm really disappointed with this series. The first book was solid, evolving multifaceted characters, intriguing plot but then it went flat. Ryan wound up being a one dimensional charicture. She never matured and grew into her self. The authors focused on her bond with tyrrik. They didn't put the effort into expanding her other relationships and how they could have changed her and given her more depth. Tyrrik sh...

Great finish Great finish to a good series. I enjoyed the series and stalked the books each time they came out. Can't wait to see what's next for these two authors.

Expecting MoreI really did love this ending, don't get me wrong. But, I thought that the "playing cards" scenes should have been a bit more. The authors did a great job with the slow burn climb in the first two books, I just felt like it lacked the chemistry you built it up with didn't get the satisfaction in the end.

Okay. Honest review time. :) This book is a solid 4 stars in my opinion. I *WANTED* it desperately to be a 5, or even a 4.5....but I just can't give it that. So let's dive in, shall we? 😊I(No spoilers in this review until later, which are marked with a *** )First off, I read these three books in three days. I binge read like nothing else, and as a mom of five little ones that should tell you that these books are awesome! I gave book one a four...
