Hide and Sneak by G. A. McKevett is the 23rd book in the Savannah Reid Mystery series, and another great addition. I love this series, and reading a new book is like visiting old friends. Savannah and Dirk end up working the same case when the nanny for a movie actor is found dead, and his wife and baby are missing. Ther...

Savannah is asked by her close friends, John and Ryan, to help a movie star friend locate his wife and child who have gone missing. At the same time, Tammy, the IT person of the Moonlight Magnolia Detective Agency, and new mom, is stressing over her parents coming to see the baby. Once they arrived, I really wanted to send Tammy’s mom packing with a good tongue lashing. What an evil, self-centered, self-absorbed, everything must make me look goo...

Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency’s is back with another case. In this latest case the handsome up-and-coming actor Ethan Malloy has enlisted the help of Savannah and Co. in a desperate attempt to track down his missing wife and child. Something seems off about the nanny so when the family nanny gets murdered, it's time for Savannah to get busy.I had a tough time getting into this book. It seemed a bit stifled in the beginning but once I got i...

A fast read with lovable characters. You could probably read as a stand alone but you would miss the well loved background of the Moonlight Magnolia Detective Agency and the Reid/Coulter families. When Savannah's newest client becomes the lead suspect in Dirk's latest homicide, everyone rallies to uncover all of the potential suspects until the true kidnapper and killer confesses.Tammy's stuffy NYC parents arrive in San Carmelita CA to take her ba...

Savannah and her husband are babysitting for a coworker’s baby and trying to prepare the mother for a visit from her parents who want her to move back home, when a new case comes to their agency. A popular actor, Ethan’s wife , child and nanny are missing. They find the nanny dead and rush to find the wife and child. Jealous ex’s, fans and incriminating pictures muddy their search. The author keeps their series going with no dull parts.

Savannah Reid and the Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency have a new case that is about a movie star and his missing wife and child. The child's nanny, also missing at first, has been found, dead in a park. The wife's car and the child's back pack of necessities are later found in the same park bringing chills to PI Savannah as well as husband police detective Dirk Coulter. While Savannah and Dirk are trying to find the missing wife and son as wel...

Hide and Sneak is the 23rd book in G. A. McKevett’s Savannah Reid Mystery awesome series. The author provides enough character background that this book can be read as a standalone without the reader feeling lost. The storyline is well thought out, the well-developed characters are affable, is full of compassion and caring, and the dialogue is witty and engaging. There are lots of laughs and some adult language, but no graphic violence or sexua...

It's all about family. Savanah Reid and the Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency are one kind of family, a great team looking out for each other. Their current case involves another family - a missing mother and child. The husband last saw them, in the company of their nanny, after an argument. The nanny is found murdered. Working with her police detective husband, Dirk, they search for the mother and child while, at the same time, they help Tammy ...

A delightful addition to this long running series- but you can read and enjoy it as a standalone. Savannah is in California now so of course she's going to get involved in a case where the wife and son of an actor-Ethan- have gone missing and the nanny is dead. Her husband Dirk is also on the case as are her friends in the Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency. There are some secrets here, as well as some twists, and the mystery is pretty entertaini...

*** I received an advanced e-copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest reviewSavannah Reid and the Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency are back with their newest case. While most of the usual secondary characters show up, I find the books that use them more in the mystery story line tend to be stronger. This one mainly focuses on Savannah's work on the mystery, though Tammy has a nice secondary story line where we get more background on her life than in all the other books combined. Some readers, especially new to this series, may not enjoy the time spent on the characters' personal lives, but I liked it. Savann...

I received this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is one of the best Savannah Reid books I have read and I've read the entire series. A mother and baby are missing and Savannah and Dirk, along with all the other Moonlight Magnolia gang are on the case. Tammy's parents have come from New York for a visit and to meet her and Waycross's new little girl; Tammy's mother is a snob! Dirk, Savannah, Tammy, Granny, John, and Ry...

The Price of Fame....Another great Savannah Reid mystery! This one really pulls at the heartstrings. While Savannah & Co. are hired by a famous movie star to find his missing wife & child, new parents Tammy & Waycross have to deal with her very judgmental mother. I love the banter between Savannah & Police Detective husband Dirk, & Granny’s sage advice. The plot had me biting my nails as Savannah & Dirk raced against the clock to find the missi...

It's always fun to get the latest installment of Savannah Reid and company. This one started off a bit rocky and slow, but got better as it went along. To me this series is character driven; I care about the characters, and enjoy seeing their growth. But they are usually pretty well plotted, too, with twists and surprises along the way. This installment was no exception. One of my favorite cozy series.

This is the 23rd book in the series and it is still as good as ever. The character development in this issue is my favorite part. Tammy is now married to Savannah's brother and they have a beautiful new baby, but now she has to deal with her awful mother, who doesn't approve of anyone in Tammy's life, including her choice of career, her friends, her husband or even her baby! Savannah and her husband Dirk do their best just to be there for Tammy a...

I received am ARC from Netgalley. G.A. McKevett is one of my favorite authors and I'm always excited to read the newest in her series. I love Savannah Reid. It's not often that you find a heroine that's plus size and proud of it. This book included the usual cast of characters. The storyline was about finding a movie stars missing wife and child. Lots of humor thrown in along with lots of love.

ExcellentI liked this book in every way. The story line was well written and true to real life values. Characters are likeable and I found myself crying when Tammy was hurting. The story was fast moving and easy to get lost in the story. I hated for it to end. I am looking forward to BE McKevetts next boom

Hide and Sneak was so moving it touched me so much. There are a lot of parent’s that are like Tammy’s. Unfortunately, you must pick your battles and stick with them. I was so proud of her that she did. No one needs a bully around them. The story was so good, I love the way Dirk gets along with Vanna Rose.
